Industrial All Risks (IAR) Claims Process

Follow these simple steps to expedite filing of a IAR claim

What is the process for making an IAR Claim?

  • Complete a Claims Form
  • Ensure you fill in complete details of loss or property damage
  • Make a police report and submit a copy with your claim, together with a Fire Brigade Report and Police Forensic Report
  • Provide evidence to support your claim e.g. -Quotation for repair -Purchase invoices/receipts/delivery orders/stock records to quantify property damage -Photographs on property damage and/or premise damage (if required) -Repair or replacement bills -Technical/QC report (for damaged items/stocks) -Additional evidence as required by us or the Adjuster
  • Complete a Claims Form

  • Make a police report and submit a copy with your claim
  • Provide evidence to support your claim e.g. -Quotation for repair -Purchase invoices/receipts/delivery orders/stock records to quantify property damage -Additional evidence as required by us or the Adjuster

What to do after an accident

  1. In case of a fire, contact the Fire Brigade and Police immediately.
  2. In case of theft and any accidental damage as a result of other third party negligence, notify the police immediately.
  3. Notify our Claims Department by phone as soon as possible, with details of loss or damage, and the current situation.
  4. Maintain all damaged property for our inspection.
  5. Take photographs of all property damage to support your claim.
  6. Take all necessary and reasonable steps to minimize the extent of loss or damage.
  7. Cooperate with us and the Adjuster to facilitate all claim handling.

When to make a report

Notify our Claims Department by phone as soon as possible, with details of loss or damage, and current situation.

Always report the accident  to Tokio Marine  as below contact number in "How to report" session.

  • Weekdays (within 24 hours)
  • Weekends & Public Holidays (within 24 hours)

Why make a report?

By not making a report you may

  • Lose all the claim benefits/rights that you are entitled to get and / or
  • Ignore your responsibility to yourself and other involved parties

How to report
