Shusaku Takashima has been with the Tokio Marine Group since April 1995 and brings over 30 years of insurance industry experience spanning underwriting, corporate planning, and corporate/global communications. He is currently the Managing Executive Officer of Tokio Marine Holdings, Inc., a position he has held since April 2025.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Takashima has held senior leadership roles at Tokio Marine & Nichido. He also served concurrently in key group-wide roles at Tokio Marine Holdings, including Executive Officer and General Manager of Corporate Planning, Executive Officer and General Manager of Global Communications, and Executive Officer and General Manager of International Business Development.
Mr. Takashima holds a Bachelor of Economics from The University of Tokyo and an MBA from Georgetown University (McDonough School of Business).
Mr. Harada is the Director of Tokio Marine & Nichido Life Insurance Co., Ltd. In addition, Mr. Harada is the Director of Tokio Marine Asia, the regional head office of the Tokio Marine Group for the Asia Pacific Region.
Mr. Harada joined Tokio Marine in 1990 and has been engaged in insurance business over 33 years. He has extensive experiences in corporate finance, accounting, and investment management.
Mr. Harada holds a Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management and is a qualified Actuary in Japan.
Mr. Ida is the General Manager of Tokio Marine Holdings, Inc. He joined Tokio Marine in 2001 and has been engaged with non-life insurance business for over 20 years. He has extensive experiences in strategic business planning, corporate management, accounting, reserving and enterprise risk management. He was most recently the Manager overseeing Tokio Marine’s Asia Pacific business from Japan, and prior to that he was the CFO of Tokio Marine Mexico.
Mr. Ida holds a Master of Business Administration from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.
A seasoned insurance professional, Max Hirai has been with the Tokio Marine Group since 1992, with 30 years’ experience of insurance industry globally in managing operations. He also has hands-on and direct experience in leading and managing established insurance companies. Mr. Hirai was most recently the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Tokio Marine's Malaysia general insurance operations, where he was deeply involved in strategic business planning, HR talent development and corporate management
Prior to his stint in Malaysia, Mr. Hirai also held key leadership positions in Tokio Marine's entities in North America, Mexico and Brazil.
With over 25 years of global investment expertise, Mr. Nikkawa is an experienced insurance investment and accounting professional.
His career highlights in the Tokio Marine include enhancing the economic value of the life insurance business in Japan through strategic asset portfolio restructuring and sustainable risk control.
With a strong background in developing investment ideas and managing relationships with global banks, Mr. Nikkawa is now overseeing the overall Asia Life business as well as Life Actuarial operation in the region.
Mr. Fukaura, with over two decades of experience in the Tokio Marine Group, joined Tokio Marine Asia in April 2024. His expertise spans strategic planning, business development, and corporate management across Japan, Singapore, and Thailand. Most recently, Mr. Fukaura served as the Senior Vice President of Tokio Marine Safety (Thailand) PCL., where he played a key role in formulating comprehensive corporate and commercial underwriting strategies. In his current role at Tokio Marine Asia, he oversees Corporate & Market Planning, Finance & Investment, Legal & Compliance, Human Resources, and Risk Engineering operations in the region.
Mr. Mayumi is the General Manager and Head of Asia and Middle East Group, International Business Development Dept. of Tokio Marine Holdings.
He joined Tokio Marine in 1998 and has been engaged with insurance business for over 27 years, with extensive experience in strategy formulation, corporate management and M&A.
Prior to his current role, he served as the Group Executive at Hollard Insurance Group in South Africa, and as the CFO of Tokio Marine Compañía de Seguros in Mexico.

Mr. Tang is a qualified actuary with more than 25 years of working experience in the life insurance industry. As CLO, he is overseeing the Life Actuarial in Tokio Marine Asia and is assisting the CEO in overseeing the Life operations in the region.
Mr. Juang serves as the Chief Technical Officer at Tokio Marine Asia, where he oversees the regional Actuarial, Underwriting, and Claims functions. In addition to this, he leads the Motor Centre of Excellence for the Group.
With over 20 years of insurance industry experience, Mr. Juang’s career spans Sydney, Melbourne, and Singapore. Prior to his current role, he served as the Chief Risk Officer at Tokio Marine Asia and has also held various Appointed Actuary positions across Asia.
Mr. Juang holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Macquarie University, as well as an Executive MBA from Singapore Management University.
Alistair Chamberlain serves as Life Insurance Director of Tokio Marine Asia, with extensive senior leadership experience spanning actuarial, finance, and product and marketing.
Alistair is an experienced insurance executive, with experience working across Europe and Asia. He trained as an Actuary in the UK before moving to Singapore in 2008, where he has since held senior roles including Chief Actuary, CFO, Product and Marketing with leading companies in Singapore. Prior to joining Tokio Marine, Alistair was the global CFO for the insurance business of a leading global banking and insurance group.
Alistair has been chair of the actuarial sub-committee of the Life Insurance Association in Singapore and also served on the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) insurance committee and the Singapore Actuarial Society Council.
Alistair is a Fellow of the actuarial associations in Singapore, UK and Hong Kong and holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Edinburgh University (UK).
