Recognising the important role that mangrove forests play in mitigating climate change, Tokio Marine Life Insurance Singapore (TMLS), one of Singapore's fastest growing life insurers, today led a mangrove-planting reforestation exercise at the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve (SBWR). This marks the insurer’s second company-wide event that aims to protect native mangrove species, in line with various SBWR public awareness initiatives in Singapore, and one of the core objectives of parent company Tokio Marine Holdings (“Protecting the Earth”).
