TMI and TMLI award scholarship for underprivileged students are smart to pursue higher education in STIMRA (Institute of Risk Management and Insurance).

We have found that in fact so many bright students coming from poor backgrounds look forward to the opportunity to pursue a higher education level, but they have no means of financial support. At the same time the insurance industry in Indonesia to address the human resource issues in the form of shortage of skilled insurance. Meanwhile, quite a number of experts in the insurance industry that is mandated by law.

TMI and TMLI start the recruitment process with an examination of a number of students who are recommended from STIMRA, and finally managed to get one bright disadvantaged students who are interested in studying the Actuary. The current legislation is not only required to have a life insurance actuary in the operation, but also the general insurance must meet the same requirements although the implementation of these requirements must be done gradually. TMI and TMLI really expect scholarship can contribute to solving the problems of the industry and most of all, they graduate can be a valuable asset to the industry.

On November 30, we handed over the program four years of undergraduate scholarships in Actuarial Management (2012-2016), which costs Rp 6,000 after graduation, to Ms Ruth Daima Ambarita image in the Central Office of TMI. Presented at the event were Mr. Mitsutaka Sato (TMI), Mr. Yoshihisa Otsuka (TMI), Mr. Shinya Tsukada (TMI), Mr. Rudolf Sirait (TMI), Mr. Chitaka Ishikura (TMLI), Mr. Soebagio Faith (TMLI), Mrs. Kusuma Fonny (TMLI), Munir Sjamsoeddin (STIMRA), Ms. Desi (STIMRA), and Ms Ruth.

To become an integral part of the communities where we do business is one of the Tokio Marine mission and commitment. TMI and TMLI plan to continue this activity in the coming years to realize the important mission. Tokio Marine "Educating the World" became a common theme we are in the field of education. The same time last year, Tokio Marine Group (including Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd., in Japan, Tokio Marine Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore., And PT Asuransi Tokio Marine Indonesia) in collaboration with the Putera Sampoerna Foundation, distributed scholarships to highly -akademik high school students from poor families in Jakarta.
