Diversity and Inclusion for People with Disabilities

In the pursuit of realizing our vision of diversity and inclusion, TMI continues to fortify its commitment by organizing various positive initiatives. On November 15, 2023, TMI collaborated with the Indonesian Deaf Welfare Association (GERKATIN) and the Indonesian Sign Language Academy to conduct an insurance literacy class specifically attended by our Deaf Community. The event took place at the TMI office, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere.

In this insurance literacy class, TMI provided a platform for employees to share their knowledge with our Deaf Friends. This initiative goes beyond enhancing understanding of insurance; it is a tangible effort to broaden employment opportunities for people with disabilities, including the deaf community in Indonesia. This activity aligns with TMI's mission to promote equal access and enhance equality in the workplace.

TMI believes that diversity encompasses not only gender equality and harmony among generations but also active and inclusive participation for individuals with disabilities. Through the collaboration with GERKATIN and the Indonesian Sign Language Academy, TMI not only created valuable moments in the lives of our Deaf Community but also generated a positive impact on society at large.
