The Future Generation Month

To commemorate world children’s day celebrated every Nov 20th and the Future Generation Month this November, Good Company team collaborated with Sahabat Anak Manggarai to celebrate this special day with the children under the guidance of Sahabat Anak Manggarai.

Sahabat Anak Manggarai is an organization with a vision to make street children aware that, as God's creations, they are valuable and noble. Sahabat Anak's mission is to involve as many individuals or parties as possible to care for street children by becoming a friend who shows love at all times.

On this special day, the Good Company team collaborated with trainer Kak Wily, who helped teach the children public speaking and storytelling skills. The children were taught how to speak in public and tell stories, starting with stories about themselves.

The children were also asked to create vision boards about their dreams and aspirations for the future. This activity received a positive response from the children, who were very enthusiastic about participating in the event.

One of the best lessons from this event was Kak Wily teaching the children to be more confident and emphasizing that every one of their stories matters.
