As part of the Malaysian government’s effort in improving the efficiency of the country’s tax administration and in support of the digital economy, the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (“IRB”) has implemented e-Invoicing in phases since 1 August 2024. TMIM is amongst the qualified taxpayers scoped into Phase 1.
To issue a valid e-Invoice, the following information are required:
We kindly seek your cooperation to provide or update the information above and other relevant information, such as your email address for the receipt of the validated e-invoice, via the e-Invoicing Information Update Form for the issuance of individual e-invoice for your policy and claim transactions with TMIM.
The failure to provide such critical information will render your e-invoice not being validated by IRB and will create mismatched data between your own tax submission and IRB’s records, which in turn, may give rise to regulatory complications.
